Stay out of the "Bin" as much as you can, hit hard, crowd the crease(Martin can't tolerate his crease full of bodies), don't retalliate on the cheap shots, make it a K's power play dominating game. Do this and the Komets will do it in 5!

They have to play the body, not some of the time but all of the time, whenever they can. Must surround the crease.

So now Lake Erie has been eliminated. The Monsters have just two more games (this weekend). So how soon does Heard get assigned here? The Monsters have plenty of players on their roster, especially with the four Colorado assigned to them this week. Here is a good opportunity to test the worth of the affiliation.
Unless an injury or something has occurred during practice, this is the strongest lineup the K's have had in a long, long time.
As long as everyone's expecting a physical series, it's good that Krug will be hitting, clearing out the slot, keeping Kalamazoo players "honest".
What??? Oh yeah, nevermind.
