Komets are saying they will likely not make any roster announcements today. They can't say anything until the league makes the overall announcement anyway, and as far as they know there's been no timetable established on that yet. They are still working on a few things.

FW fans,
Making the trip down with several others for the weekend showdown. Are there any hockey bars around town that we can catch the Red Wings game Saturday and maybe have a Molson or two? Should be a helluva series and looking forward to it!
Thanks in advance!
Well, the timetable has got to be pretty soon. Allen and Tulsa play on the 14th so something has to happen before then.
Sometimes ( no that's wrong), most times, the ECHL just doesn't seem to get it. The playoff rosters were due Monday at 3PM. You'd think in this age of instant communication that they could inform people better.
Petryk..4g..7a..-1
Meurs..0g..0a..-2
Heard..6g..5a..-16..&132 penalty minutes
U want these guys 2 replace our current guys
NO NO NO!!!
As Komets:
Heard: 10G/6A/16pts/+7
Meurs: 12G/10A/22pts/-2
Petryk: 0G/5A/5pts/+3
All go to the corners and dirty spots on the ice... Yep, I'll take them...
I would take Heard in a heartbeat!!! He looked like a man playing among boys.
IMO there's no way Lake Erie sends Petryk down before their season ends. Maybe a chance on Heard but they probably would keep him and a decent chance in Meurs, coach doesn't like to use him much.
Some interesting comments.
As I read the comment from WHO, I certainly recognized his reasoning...and JR1 is correct also.
I've never been real successful translating stats from college to the ECHL. Nor have I been successful translating stats from the ECHL to the AHL.
Here is just one example ( and I'm sure there are hundreds of other examples that would work against my thinking). Shawn Szydlowski has played 73 games in the AHL. In 2011-12 he played 53 games for Rochester. In all of those games he has NEVER scored a goal. Yet, this season he has scored 38 for the Komets. Why? Well, maybe its as simple as this: Circumstances.
Faille came back on fire. Heard left on fire.
Players on the bubble? This is just my opinion so don't jump all over me, but up front, you could take your pick among Severyn, Clarke, Rizk, and Schrock as those who might be looking over their shoulders a little. Not all will be gone but this is what happens when you have at least four forwards that have, basically, not lived up to their potential or expectations in the goal scoring department. Lowry, too, but he's firey and a center so he could be useful.
I'd like to know if Crowder came through the weekend OK. I'd like to know if Pistilli has recovered and is practicing/playing this weekend.
I watched graham last night on Sound Off. The more I listen to him, the more respect I have for him. He seems to know exactly what they need and how to attain those needs (whether by player additions or style of play or both).
(I still think its crazy that, as a league, your playoffs are starting in a few hours and there has been made no announcement of rosters).
