Just watched an interview with Dean Chynoweth ( head coach of San Antonio). Although it was dated May 23rd, it didn't sound real promising that Colorado would still have Fort Wayne as their ECHL affiliate.
Paraphrasing, he said that they are still trying to "figure out" what to do regarding an ECHL affiliate.
Nothing was totally in concrete here, yet my "gut" feeling is that Fort Wayne will have to hook up with a new team.
No matter what or whom, the sooner the better would be best for the K's (again, in my opinion).
