I was hoping that the K's would try to bring back Mark Guggenberger. Looks as if he's signed with Miskolci Jegesmedve JSE (whatever or wherever that is).
The K's have always been blessed with the ability to acquire good goaltending. Because signing announcements are released sporadically, maybe this piece of the puzzle is solved. Yet I think, as a STH, I'd be more comfortable if they would reduce some jitters by getting a quality netminder under contract. Their philosophy on the structure of this roster fascinates me. Will they depend on their affiliation to provide a goaltender?
Speaking of affiliations, just what is going on? Yeah, I know that it was July 22 (last year) when the Colorado announcement came, but it is the 21st and we've been told over and over again that "news" would be coming (as recently as last week).
Who is "the great new player" the Komets have signed??

Sivak is a great addition, solid player with lots of scoring ability and some AHL experience. After losing Embach, Crowder, and Pistilli, hope Komets can find more like him.
