I don't drink. But then, as far as games go, I don't eat either. Too poor. But those concessions sure do look good some nights.

I'd rather have $1.00 BEER=LIKE MOST TEAMS DO./I also hope we get a blizzard sometime soon.

A couple problems with the $2.50 beer. #1 - smaller cups, which leads to #2, which Janice stated earlier...people getting up during play to go get more. I agree with Janice, I might also have to get loud if people forget to wait for the whistle (which usually happens when people start to drink). I'm with HitSomebody also, I'll take the $1 Pepsi...I would like the beer, but I don't think that would be good for working the next day (especially since my job involves students). Go Komets!!!

I drink beer when i'm at the games. And yeah i'm sure the $2.50 beers will be small cups. Just like what they had at the Wizards games on Dollar nite.

Even though i'm one of them there beer drinkers, I too agree that people need to stay seated untill the period is over. Aggravates the heck out of me when people are up and down the stairs during gameplay.

Hi, my name's Steve and I drink beer! I've also been known to use foul language, sometimes on occasion when people walk up and down isles during play. When they try to come down my row I suggest they sit down and wait, get mixed results with that.

I have no idea what you people are talking about... Our great red coated ushers would never let anything like what you describe happen...lol Those red coats and nifty signs they hold are more effective than armed marines....

It is cool to have a promo night at the coliseum. While $2.50 beer isn't exactly $1 beer... it is a neat idea. If you think its bad with people not waiting for a stoppage in play to move around, go to any other arena... the problems there are a lot worse. As for $1 pepsi, that should be easy to do since the actual costs involved with each cup they serve are most likely under 10 cents, including the cost of the cup (except for the plastic souvineer cups if they still do that). Soda is INCREDIBLY cheap and yieldss a huge return.

I have been a Komet fan for a long time. Wish I could attend a game. It would be a thousand mile trip. If I could attend a game, I would buy Wendy something to eat and drink since she is poor.

I said it before and I'll say it again.....
Drunk Komet fans and wild animals in the building.... what could POSSIBLY go wrong?

Perhaps that's why it's called "Wild Wednesdays"....Does anyone know what kind of wild animal(s) will be in the building tonight?

This would be my kind of night. I just offered it a trip up to my boss. Won't be making it this week, but next week vs. Bloomington appears to be another story. Now, I just have to get out of the Lamaze classes. That one might be tougher.

How many people here remember when they couldn't sell beer at games? Then when they started it was small, portable stands they sold it out of. I think that's about the time I quit taking my flask to games.

i used to take in a half pint and hide it in the bathroom and then buy large pops for $1 then mix it. the 2.50 beer is in a small cup but on a cost per ounce basis its a slightly better deal than the large 6.00 cup so its cheaper and the colisieums still making a good profit! go komets

Tonight I got to have a beverage "hat-trick"....bought a $1 Pepsi, bought a small "Foo-Foo" and a friend bought me a small Bud Light. Other than Shaf's tip in goal, that was the highlight of the evening for me....

i figured out that it is still cheaper to buy the pitchers of beer from the lounge. 5 12 oz for 12.50 one 60 oz pitcher for 11. better deal if more than one person is drinking

There wasn't enough beer in the building to make that game interesting.
