Tailing the Komets

About tonight's game

What do you expect to see? It sounds like the team is playing more physical of late, but do you think that will continue tonight? I'm thinking it will if for no other reason than the boys can put Elmira away early if they do, and they realize they have to start performing better at home.

What do you think?

Oh, and hi Preston.

I hope to see them play like they did last night, jump out to a lead and keep their foot on the neck of the other team. There has been way too many games that the team seemed to let up after getting a 2 or 3 goal lead. It would be nice to see some hits and get the crowd into the game.

It would also be nice to see some changes that us fans have asked for, but I'm not holding my breath.

Maybe we'll see a game like the ones we had against Elmira in the playoffs of 2003 when we won the cup. That was a rough and tough series! Looking forward to tonight's game. Go K's!!!

I am hoping to see 40+ shots on goal, agressive forechecking and stellar goaltending by Frenchy and another Komets win!

I hate to be right about this, but another two goal lead lost, the ref should get 1/2 of the win though!

the ref didnt lose the game for us, the ks stopped playing after it got to be 2 to 1. elmira smelled a victory and they took it to us! great game lance and guy. the rest of the guys quit on us.

Good call Hoss. Another game that we should have put away that we let go. This is the frustrating Komets that we are used to seeing. I don't think Rob Guinn can get the puck to the first blue line anymore. He turns the puck over everytime he touches it. And usually it is a perfect pass to the other team for an easy shot. I was hoping maybe one of the two new guys we brought in would take his spot. I noticed one of the new guys in the crowd had an arm/back brace on. Is that Luke Sellars? What happened to him?

the player with the brace is John Jarram. He dislocated? his shoulder a couple weeks ago. Sellars is the guy with the bright blonde hair. Also Erik Patten was sitting with David Carpentier and Garret Summerfield. Both Patten and Sellars should be ready to play next week at the earliest. Definately excited to see how Sellars will fit into the team. He and Gally played together in juniors with Ottawa and he was a pretty solid D back then too.
I agree that the guys really let up after Gally got taken out of the game. frenchy had to save the D's butts way too many times. I have to give props to Gally though. Did anyone else see him cheering the guys on from the bench for the rest of the game? He was even getting into the 'let's go komets' chant with the fans. He looked like a little kid during the shoot-out.

227? I think. It's the section in the corner where all of the players and wives sit.
