Have you been following Ebert's comments on his impending death?
Ebert is an outspoken atheist, and has acknowledged that he will be dead soon. His jaw has been entirely removed.
He is displaying the sort of bravery I hope I can muster when my time comes.
But I probably won't. I think Ebert is made of tougher stuff than most of us.

Littlejohn, the recent article about Ebert in Esquire (one of the few good things to come out of that rag these days) was pretty inspiring. I miss Ebert and Siskel, and the intelligent movie criticism they made. I'm glad Ebert's still around, though I definitely tended to identify with Siskel's sensibilities more. Still, interesting their back-and-forth was. Now all you hear about is box office take, as if that means anything.
