There are opinions and post on here from people I probably would guess didn't play the game but yet I value and respect there opinions and observations of komet hockey and the game in general. Some.. Uuuummmm, we have a self proclaimed expert in hockey on here that I dont think I have ever seen a post from recapping a Komets game...???
Just to make sure, I went back thru the last 3 major game day threads and found only attacking of others posts... Most that contained the following:
1. You've never played
2. I've played at a high level and with most of the current K's
3. Your ignorant, stupid, immature, etc...
When are we going to be dazzled by this self proclaimed owner of infinite hockey knowledge??? Its easy to say you know what your talking about; but harder to prove it. Not saying this poster doesnt know what he's talking about, I would just like to see proof for the 1st time....

Most were grasping at straws looking for players who could skate in this league and I do believe this was before Blake joined us on the "roster and systems need change" bandwagon...

Like I've said many times here.. I've never proclaimed to be great or be a superstar... Just fortunate enough to have been able to expierence the game by Actually playing it. I just choose not to critcize individual players and be an arm chair quaterback. If you read the thread from RK that started this topic of conversation it involved critizing a player and blamimg him for a goal that if you understood the game he would have realized the player was not the one responsible. If you read any post here that I've put forth I just choose not to be critical. I like to be humored by all the experts here that criticize .even when the komets are winning. And I really could care less of any critcism or opinions of my self . GO KOMETS !

Blake, maybe you can answer a question that came up last week conversing about former players. What happened to tom lawson after he left here? Know he became colorado property but never heard much after that. Was his career cut short because of injury or what?

Well, that was a whole lotta nothing post.... Its easy to tell someone they are wrong and then call them a name; but harder to explain why they are wrong. Unless, you dont know? You may not agree with thier opinion; but at least they are giving a reason they are basing thier opinion on. I see you tell them they are wrong all the time; but your reasoning is just that you've played and they havent....thats not grounds for calling the other poster ignorant, IMO...

JR1.. Read the post again! I did explain why warner wasn't responsible for the goal.. First he was where he was supposed to be. 2nd..the player that scored beat 2 of our guys physically behind the net and stepped right between them before stepping in front and scoring. Like I said give credit where do but also the critisism. And I didn't post threads after fridays game because I wasn't at sat night game or sundays . I was attending NHL games. Sorry I just refuse to bow down to the few bullys on this blog. Its the same ones who respond in the same manner all the time. Blog something worth while and I will respond. I have no problem calling you and the croonies out on here!

I would challenge those normal bloggers on here to post something positive or something relative to the games other than just bashing individual players.

New database cleared the Lawson thing up for me. JM is correct. Tom was in Sweden last year but for only 13 games. Russia for he two years before that. But nothing I can find for this season.

Several of the croonies and I also had positive things to say about the Komets' play in the posts from the games this weekend, but some people must've skimmed over those to support their arguments. We're all Komets fans, even if we're not fans of all the Komets. Like it or not, that's how it has been, how it is, and how it's going to be. People discuss their thoughts and that's the point of a blog. It's fun, not life.
