Tailing the Komets

Another way to look at things

We're still not to the halfway point of the season, so how remarkable would it be if somehow the Komets recover from all these injuries and all the adversity and still have a strong second half? This would become one of the most amazing Komets seasons of all time. I think it would be even more historical than the way they won the cup last year. You may think I'm nuts -- OK, more nuts than usual -- but I still believe that is a possibility with this team provided everyone can get healthy, which is not a given, but it's also more likely than not.

Sure, its possible. And its true that the injuries are weighing them down right now. But it will take more than getting everyone healthy to pull it off. They need to get their heads in the right place again, too. That is the real challenge. But possible? Absolutely.

Ok maybe...

But it is hard to overlook when this team was mostly healthy they were struggling to put teams away and inventing new ways to lose games, like taking dumb penalties with 2 goal leads against K-Zoo. I think POHO is going to be tough to beat, K-Zoo has our number, Musky is maybe a challenge, and heck, we have struggled with Bloomington alot of late.

I want this team to win as much as the next guy or gal, I still think they are a good D-Man or 2 away from doing something big, and maybe a sniper around the net as well.

Well last time I checked if the playiffs started today we would be in and anything can happen then. Just look at Port Huron last year. They weren't suppose to get out of the first round.

That's all part of it, Wendy. It's a process. Guys, these last two years have been very easy for the Komets, by comparison, but this is quite a test. Imagine how boring it would be if the Komets had done again what they did last year. LOL. Life certainly isn't that easy, so why should hockey be?

I Believe we can achieve.
