Obviously, most of us (except for the old, old-timers like Schebig and Burgee) are not going to remember when Lloyd Maxfield scored two goals 9 seconds apart Nov. 5, 1960, against Milwaukee. That's the answer to the fastest two goals by a Komets player after Kaleigh Schrock scored two 10 seconds apart Saturday night. But, I'm betting a few of us remember seeing Paul Willett score two SHORT-HANDED goals in 10 seconds in 1997, right? I remember seeing Scott Gruhl score two short-handed goals in 16 seconds once, too. Anybody else remember those nights?
Dave Longsworth came up with the audio from the Gruhl and Willett goals.

I definitely remember the 2 shortys by Willet...The Maxfield goals.....not so much
Didn't we have back to back goals in a game last season that were less than 10 seconds apart, by different players....???
Yes, 2 short-handed on non other than the hated Detroit Vipers. However, we still lost the game 5-3.
I remember the Gruhl & Willet goals :)

Kent Horman I think
That was Kent. I think Mr. Chase was ill that night.
I didn't realize Kent had been on "standby" for that many years lol.
Hit, I think you are right....for some reason, I think one was from Thomas, but can't remember who the other one was....definitely can't remember who they were playing, either, but it does stick in my head that they scored two pretty quickly....I've been wrong before, though....LOL
