Wow, I knew they were having troubles, but I figured they would get an investor, or that the league would bail them out.

What a shame. That's always sad to see. I, too, really expected something to happen to keep them going at least through the end of the season. I feel badly for everyone involved.
So... Did they have any good defensemen down there?

I feel bad for John Marks. I think that is the same coach who was in the running for the job here against Sims. That poor guy just can't win when it comes to sticking with a stable team. Last year I think he was with Pensacola, and they went under as well.

John Marks is a class act. He will land someplace. You all know that the Lynx were the secondary affiliant of the Lightning. Norfolk sent guys there. You would have to think that the lightning will need to hook up with someone else. Let you mind work!
