Any chance you know what the 8 items on the list are? It would be interesting to see what the keys to this turn around are. I am sure we can come up with a few, but I didn't know if they gave you the list.

They would not give me the list.

A real important week of hockey coming up.

The K's need to take at least two of three this week (probably all three since two of the games are against Bloomington). The K's need to come out fast and furious against Missouri Wednesday. I believe Rob Nolan is their goaltender. The same goes for Bloomington. The K's need to win both of those games this weekend. Marco Emond is their goaltender and he has been tough on the K's this year. The komets defeated the PrarieThunder last weekend but Emond did not start the game.

The Komets are starting to give signs of a real positive second half season. Some of the teams in the division, although they have played more games than Fort Wayne, are starting to catch up in the "lost" column. That is significant. The K's need to, and if they do, keep adding victories in the "win" column we could see the standings start to bunch up dramatically.

I hate the way this season started. However, I would rather have them play their best hockey during the second half ( and right before the playoffs) than in the beginning.

This weekend will go a long way in determining their fate. They are going to go on the road pretty soon for an extended time. Soon things will become more clear.

I'm not so sure that these three games will exclusively determine their "fate". What will is focusing in on their personal goals they set out for themselves, as it is vital for a decent turnaround...for every game. I think it's more about sticking to that and continuously "grinding the axe".

I like the approach they are taking as I'm sure they're aware that they're every bit as good as the first place teams, maybe better...(a light bulb finally go on? - someone break out the chemistry set?)

To let all of you die hard k fans know, I saw some Missouri players walking around fw today. I rolled down my window and screamed, "GO KOMETS!" I just happened to be stuck in some lunch time traffic, and when the traffic caught on, the whole line up was screaming, "GO KOMETS!" ;) Their heads got big like they were some sort of super stars. They were smiling and waving...lol

Huge week of hockey for the Komets! The "work in progress" K's will have a good gauging week against Missouri and Bloomy. Bloomy was just voted #4 and Missouri #5 in the new coaches poll out on the CHL's website. This week will go a long way to answering some questions as to where they are at this point in the season.
