Adirondack is out, and maybe another team. We'll know more very, very soon.
they are falling like flies...
But really, what do you expect when you draw less than 2,400 per game? Last year 2,900 for a first-place team. How much of a hockey town is it really?
Thats to bad for both those teams....
Will there be another draft for Adirondack or are they free agents? Are the chances of 'the other team' dropping likely? While these teams (with the exception of Motor City) that have been closing shop seem like a geographic advantage for the UHL, I wonder if this many at one time will hurt the league. One final comment---with the chance of a hard salary cap and all these teams folding, is it still neccessary for a veteran limit? I don't know if that is needed anymore.
Dispersal draft for Adirondack and Danbury will be later this week...according to Mr. Brosal..
