Beat Bossier-Shreveport 2-1 to extend their road winning streak to six games and sweep the doubleheader from the Mudbugs. Dustin Molle and Tab Lardner scored for the Komets, and Derek Patrosso had two assists. Dan Lapointe and Colin Chaulk both did an excellent job in the final five minutes winning some key faceoffs. Kevin Reiter made 29 saves to win for the second straight night.
Now the Komets get on the bus for the 3 1/2-hour trip to

Way to go Komets. Good win. Beat Fort Worth!
Announcers, beat writers.....all of 'em will! LOL....
Nah, the team is called the Texas Brahmas now, not the Fort Worth Brahmas. But I still wouldn't put it past Bob to get it mixed up at least once, bless his heart.
Great job Ks! Lapointe is solid on faceoffs. Keep it up Ks. If they get on a big enough roll, maybe they can even win a home game!
How embarrassing for the mudbugs.
Hopefully the Komets found somewhere to get some sleep, they didn't have the best of luck with their hotel
No.. Hockey fan for life.. How embarrissing for you and your 0 for 3 prediction! Are you the ex-commissoner paul picard? Because you sure hate on the komets a lot
Pardon the typos :)
Ok, Hockey Fan for Life. If you ever listen to games on the radio and listen to some of the intensity and character this team is beginning to show I think you might understand this contraversal season. Reality points this team is figuring how its personnel must do to win games. The biggest defensive sacrifice this team is doing is blocking shots. Ask one of the players, just one, and see how many ice bags he has to apply. So quit low balling your home team, even if you arent from Fort Wayne. Say something that may offer advice or help the team continue there recent play. Go Komets and Go get a life HF4L.
Hockey Fan for Life = NAIF
And NAIF = troll, and not the kind that lives beneath the Mackinaw Bridge.
I will admit I was wrong also when I said the Komets would go 0-3 this weekend. This team has been unpredictable but the last few weeks have really given me some hope. I just wish they could win at home more. Once they start doing that they should be in good position come playoff time. After this weekend there are 27 games left with 17 at home. Gotta take care of business at home. Way to go Komets. Sweep the weekend and finish strong the last 2 months of the season.
Omg not "NAIF" DONT say anything bad if you cant say anything nice. Therefore my yap is shut!
The building that the Texas Brahmas play in looks small on CHL TV.
It is Ggeiselman...it only seats about 2500. Its a renovated rec rink..similar to the one evansville plays in
Congrats to the K's so far this weekend!
Such hate spewing from some of these teenage bloggers. Your parents must really be proud.
