Lots of reasons why there aren't. That fanbase has been jerked around all summer not knowing what is going on with their team. This ownership group has been late wth everything. The season ticket holders they had were not being communicated with.

That is just this year though.

There have been lots of other mis-steps in Bloomington and the fanbase there has not totally been cultivated there. It is a fringe hockey market anyway. But the correct approach and postive interactions there, and it could work.

This year has been a blunder from the start. It will ruin what chances they had at Minor League hockey success. And if they ever have hockey again, it will be juniors.

Very sad news.

Those AAHL owners that were placed there alot of people were saying to not get your hopes up. They have failed multiple timees before and move around like gypsies.

My gut feeling.

Owners in Bloomington now this is the last year in AA hockey. The Arena probably has planned on Junior Hockey next season, and this Blaze thing is just a stop-gap until they get the new team in next year.

To me the lack of effort to move this team forward this year and also the mess with the Arena lease agreement with Leighton and Company....the People that runt he Arena have been hinting around for a few years they want Juniors in the arena instead of Minor Pro from what some fans in Bloomington have said in the last couple of years.

What might this mean for us.

Our last year in this CHL.

QC and Bloomy both might go Juniors.

Us and Evansville might both goto the ECHL.

Just my hunch.

Kind of interesting that as the Bloomingto franchise just can't seem to get out of their own way, the ECHL announces an expansion franchise for San Francisco.

Hit mentions QC maybe going to the juniors as a "gut feeling". He may be right on track. I have a tough time feeling sorry for Quad City and its fans. They certainly didn't have a tough time attending Mallards games back when they were winning 50 games a year for five straight seasons.

According to Curadeau's Facebook Page, he has Retired Officially from hockey. He had signed in Cincy of the ECHL.

Odd news.

Anyone have info as to why?

they saY ONLY THINGS THAT THAT THE PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR. I say a player is signed and they say no=then they are here. I get mey info. from a good source. This makes it stressful.I think this makes them mad=that I know things before they do. There is 1 player on the camp list that will not be here. I will not say his name & will let them tell the news. My post is =1/2 as long as Alan's.But I still like you guys.

Ya know what, Mightbite? Your information that one player on the camp list won't be here is interesting. The reason is that the other day I was thinking to myself that the K's could bring in other players as soon as they cut some or if others do not report.

I believe your sources, Mightbite. I am looking forward to having Bonneau play a tough forward position, looking forward to the scorer being on the roster by the end of October, and now am hoping that the non-reporting player will not be a defenseman from Bossier-Shreveport or any of the CHL players they have signed.

Help me out for a minute, and without mentioning any names, tell me if it is a "kid" or a player who has played in the CHL.

Thanks.

I thought you said Bonneau was going to be taking the other Komets Hershey camp spot Mightbite???

Wasnt it a D-man (Olesky maybe?) who saw the writing on the wall before camp last season and decided not to report? Not sure about the name; but the circumstances are starting to look alot alike... I just hope another good player decides not to come to camp due to the feeling that they wont get a fair shake to make the team.

Hit,
I spoke with Mathieu this morning. Basically as the time came to head to San Antonio his heart wasnt in it. He did say he was looking at going back to school. I was trying to work and he was driving so we didnt talk very long.

Wait a minute......

The Frankes assured everyone that this as an open camp. No spots for the opening night roster have been filled. Open competition. No one has an advantage. No one should feel the writing is on the wall at all.

Right?
