Book winner

Dang it, I should have stuck with my original pick because Dwight Freeney was no factor after the first quarter, and Peyton really tightened up. He was short-arming the throws and throwing off his back foot.

Anyway, there were too many Colts' homers in our contest, but Krackers463 came the closest with the score, predicting Saints 28-21, so they will get a c

Bleeding blue today, but I'm proud of Brees. I still love the Colts and have since 1984. If anyone wants to get off the bandwagon now so us real fans can stretch out, guarantee. I'm still not buying into the fact that there are a lot of bandwagon riders on here though, just a lot of jealous onlookers from outside...

I'm not jealous my team has 6 Lombardi's we can spare a few Super Bowl titles for the less fortunate

Disappointed? Sure... but I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the Saints, and I'm a big fan of Brees so it's not so bad.

Congrats to the winner! Didnt it seem like the game was indiana against the rest of the country? it seemed as if everyone outside of the hoosier state, the announcers included, were pulling for the saints, oh well. the colts should be set for another run next year.

Fans always feel that way, but let's face it, the Saints did have most of the plays going their way.

Congradt to the Saints. They played outstanding football. It was a great game. The Colts have nothing to be ashamed of. The Colts weaknesses were exploited to the fullest. That's what great champions do.

So how bout the "goon squad" coming in Wednesday? Will it be as boring as last Wednesday?
(I dont consider them goons but some on the board do)

Drew Brees (Purdue) Super Bowl MVP. Tracey Porter (IU) biggest play of the game. The State of Indiana was well represented on both teams.

I may not be there Wednesday night if we get hit hard. Last Friday was all I am willing to go through weather wise. That kickoff to start the 2nd half was excellent choice by the coach. Payton out coached Indy BIG TIME!!

Earlier in the day the real game was played, Capitals vs Penguins.

Caps won, their 14 in a row, and Ovechkin got a hat.

Yesterday was a good day for me sports-wise.

The hockey game WAS a good one, Steve....I'd have rather seen the Pens win that one, but my son is a big OV fan, so he was happy that the Caps and OV got their 14 in a row. I can't blame him for that. I'm more of a Malkin fan than a true Pens fan, but I do like the Penguins more and more each year. Oh well, it was a good game, and both teams were playing great hockey.

I'm bummed that the Colts did not win, but they were not playing like I think they could have. I had fun anyway. I think my Browns will get there next year....come on, it could happen!! LOL

That was a good hockey game! The Caps are my "other" NHL team, so long as they're not playing the Blackhawks.

No wonder you and Jason get along so well....

And I did have the score right for a while....it was 17-14 Colts for a bit there....if we could only have left it as it was. Sigh. :)
