The puck is actually under the heal of Boucher's stick and on the goal line.

it's 3-2 Komets after two periods.

I'm still wondering why, when a shoot-out goes beyond five shooters, it's called sudden death when it's not? Sudden death means first team to score wins, in any sport, and hockey if it is during the overtime.

If the shoot-outs were sudden death then Evansville wouldn't have gotten that last shot and would add more incentive for the home team to choose to shoot first.

Just wondering......

I agree. Shouldn't be called "sudden death". Here's the rule:

If the score shall remain tied through ten (10) shooters
for each Team, the order shall revert back to the first shooter, and
proceed in the same order until one Team takes the advantage with
an equal number of shooters.

So, really not sudden death since there has to be an equal number of shooters.

Say what you want about the Henley fight. Wasn't a dominating fight, but he did win and sparked the K's and finished with a win. Still some passing issues to clear up, but I'll take it.

henley gave the crowd a meaningless fight eh?? so, komets get schooled again for half a game, henley beats their "big gun", and all of a sudden we start skating harder, hitting harder, scoring goals.. acting like a team with some confidence and toughness... all that happened right after his fight.. you think it was coincidence eh?

Guess there is no talking to some people about the importance of a tough guy on a team... no matter what happens you will make excuses and close your eyes to anything that happend to prove otherwise... go ahead.. cover your eyes, close your mind, and keep believing we need more figure skaters.

I didn't think it was meaningless at all. It was huge at the time. That was my point. That, and the score, took Sgroi completely out of the game. HE was the one who was meaningless tonight.

Beginning to notice the shots taken but he stated facts. Cant argue. A leader is to take blame for any and all.

Was a different game last night compared to last week, Henley's being on the bench and ice had a lot to do with it! Lets Go Komets!!

my phrase about "meaningless fight" was in response to a post by Snuff which seems to be removed.. not to you Blake.
