Boucher will be the starter going into the playoffs...not because he should based on this season but he has earned the right to at least begin the playoffs as the starter.

Go, Haun....I'd rather see him in net base don both their performances all season (minus the baseball swing from Haun, of course). I do like Haun better.

How has Boucher "earned the right". Haun has played more games, has better SA% and better GAA.

They also both do a clinic for youth goalies and are both great with the kids.

Nosebleed . He has "earned the right" some fans would say because of his previous post season experience. I have been on record since the start of the season I thought Haun would end up the starter before the year was over. Had he not had his moment of stupid earlier this year it probably would have happened.
It would not surprise me out of loyalty and trust he has earned based on his previous post season performance if the competition is close that Sims gives Boucher the chance to start the playoffs. As long as he plays well he should continue to play. But one iffy game in the playoffs and he might not see the ice again.

Hah! You're both wrong. Nick is amazing on the road and Tim is amazing at home. I think they'll try to rotate the schedule that way as much as possible the rest of the year.

Gotta go with Blake on this one. I'm sure Bouch will get the nod tonight in Port Huron because #1, he is great on the road and #2, he is particularly great in Port Huron. Timmy is the man at home, no doubt about it. Who could ask for a better goaltending tandem?

So we are all right! My only thing is. I believe you have to with who's hot now, not a year ago.

Blake,
Hasn't Sims pretty much gone with one guy in the playoffs the last two years?
I think when it comes down to it he will pick one guy to start (I believe that will be Boucher) and as long as he wins he will stay in.
I can't think of any hockey team at any level that rotated goalies all the way to a cup win.

He has earned the right by winning 2 Turner Cups, guys. ANYONE can win in the regular season. Ask Clayton Pool about that. Playoffs is where the pretenders are separated from the contenders. Nick has proven, not once, but twice he can take the pressure.....game 7 triple overtime for the cup?......and this season, Nick has missed close to 8 weeks with various injuries. Tim has done a fantastic job, but missing that much time with injuries takes a huge toll on your season, and I'm sure his ability to get going consistently.

A nice problem to have IF you can call it a problem.
