Not a big deal you say? For some folks it is. Komets fans Kedrick, 9, and Drake Sosenheimer,10, are in Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital recuperating from brain surgery, and their little brother Hunter, 8, tagged along. They all have a rare condition called Arnold-Chiari malformation, a structural defect at the base of the brain that causes high pressure in the spinal fluid, headaches and other balance problems. They have to periodic surgeries to relieve the pressure on their brains. It was Drake and Kedrick's turn this time. Not the greatest spring break in the world, especially for their mom Heather. Their dad Rick was a member of the rowdy Section 2 group during the 1990s.
Anyway, since they can't be at the game, I told them to watch the blog and I'd provide descriptions tonight. So if I miss something, feel free to chime in so I make sure they get the full picture. I don't know if there is truly anyone in the world who loves the Komets more than those rascals.
Hang in there, guys. Lots of people are praying for you.
The pic is of the boys with their friend Zach and some camera hog.

In case anyone care...210 minutes til game time!
Here's a story Hunter wrote for me today:
MVP Justin Hodgeman is coming back to the Komets! I thought Hodgeman come back to the Komets.
I know someone will sit tonight or the rest of the season. Who it will be???
My guess is Keith Rodger, because he is not that good on the team, he has not scored a goal or helped score a goal, in he is kind of good, just not for the Komets.
