I'd have to agree. Can they? Yes. Will they? Now that's the real question, isn't it? But an even more interesting question is "Would it be better for the league if they didn't?" Don't get me wrong. I expect the Komets to give everything they've got (and then some) in the pursuit, regardless. Whoever wins is going to have to earn it.
The IHL will prove this year to be the toughest league in all of hockey. I do not mean the toughest with fighting. I think the IHL will be the stongest most competitive of all minor league hockey. They may call it AA but I am not sure that is a fair ranking. Maybe AA++ would be better. To bad there is not a play-off between AA hockey. Whoever comes out on top Of the IHL will be a very deserving "Champion". Yes, I'll pick the Komets for sure.

AA+ is something that the Dayton Gems have been using on their website for a while now. It is in response to the ECHL which calls themselves the "Elite AA league."
That "elite" tag is how Kalamazoo thinks of themselves. Key word was thinks.
why not just go to AAA and forget the AA++ stuff.
NO, you can goto AAA if you want. I like the IHL and the product for the money we pay. I don't care to be priced out of my season tickets for a jump to the AHL. Thanks though.

everyone will be happy hockey starts Wednesday. The Capitals looked real strong last night against Toronto.
First monday of the month, mail order meds just in time for the opening of hockey season!!!!! Colts won again, no one has to go to box and feel shame today, but I still want to blow the scoreboard horn and talk in the headsets to Larry.

Normally, I would list Washington as a team I like, but not after they beat my beloved Bruins on opening night 4-1. But yeah, they are supposed to be really strong this year. I still think they are soft on defense, but I would rather see them win than Philly.
Burgee--Sometimes you can't get a word in edgewise with Larry the PA guy. He marches to a different drummer and has his own rule book. "Hockey Rules and the way is should be called according to Larry". I hate to tell you this but the horn is controlled by the Frankes.
I think the more relevant question is can this blog now go 3 days without talking about sun tan oil, medications, dog buisquits, road apples, etc...? With training camp underway, I pray that it can......
