Ok....let's get the line combos straight with what we have to choose from:
Chaulk, Lardner, Apod
Lapointe, Schrock, Francis
Musselwhite, PC, Patrosso.
Molle, DeAngelis
Cescon, Guy
Phillips, Danko
when guys get healthy and we get our guys back:
Chaulk, Curadeau, Lardner
Leo, OC, PC
Lapointe, Schrock, Francis
Apod/Musselwhite
DeAngelis/Molle
Cescon/Guy
Phillips/Warner
That Group should win games.
They have to play aggressive though. bottomline.

I don't have any serious viable combinations in mind Hit, it's just that my thoughts are along the lines that Colin is so good at setting people up he needs to be with guys who are scoring, even if we end up with just one decent or maybe super line.
They've gotta start putting the puck in the net and if there are only three doing that then let's put them together and hopefully they'll wreck havoc.
For defense, Danko is too good as a defensive, stay at home blue liner, he should be on a regular shift no matter, IMO.

I am hearing alot of mixed things from the Komets.
Curadeau on the IR.....did it have anything to do with his interview with Justin Cohn?
Big Al got a tongue lashing from a Franke in the hall-way after the game?
Bobby Phillips.....Broken Hand?
Morning skate at Canlan where only some of the players were there? Alot of absences from the team. Was it an optional skate? Or are there some guys not making the trip?
Heard alot of other interesting things.....But those were the ones that got me thinking that I wonder what the line-up will look like tonight.
Wonder who made the trip, and who didn't.

Hmm, Plymouth beat Sarnia 8-2 tonight at home, are you sure it was the Plymouth Whalers?
Maybe someone using their bus since they were at home tonight?
I think there is some kind of basketball tournament going on, maybe it was Plymouth something else?

Quick google/mapquest search shows that the University of Oakland is in Rochester, MI which is less than an hour away from Plymouth so my guess is that Plymouth loaned out their bus to the university

Small school with alot of basketball tradition.
This year they took Michigan State down to the wire and then beat Tennessee when they were ranked in the top 10.

I see that A.Pod is one of the CHL's "3 Stars" for tonight. And they have a new poll on their website for "Which sub-.500 team will have the best second half?" The K's are the most popular pick at the moment with 31% of the vote.
Bob
Sun, 01/16/2011 - 2:14am
Earlier the poll had the K's at 36%.

They're still well ahead of second place Evansville. Speaking of which, it looks like a win on Sunday would tie E-ville in points. Like I said before, with the games in hand, it's almost a non-issue, but I'm sure a lot of fans would like to see that none-the-less. It looks like Mississippi has been doing pretty well for itself since they lost to the Komets 5-7 on December 29. They've won 5 of 7 games and 2 in a row. But they've also been on the road alot. This will be their 10th road game out of 11 played (starting Dec. 22). After Sunday's game, they'll have a nice, comfortable homestand. So will Mississippi be tired and road weary? Will the K's be tired or will they rise to the occasion?
I'm predicting a 2-1 K's victory.

I didn't see the sign on the side of the bus, my wife did so I have to take her word for it. Watching the highlights from the IPFW game it did sound like a lot of fans cheering for Oakland. Borrowing the bus makes sense. Thanks guys.

They're keeping the bobblehead a mystery until it's in your hand, although I'm sure it will leak before then. I've seen the outline and it has it's left arm raised. My guess is it will be Schrock but I wouldn't be surprised if it's Sims. I just hope it's not Chaulk

I would be surprised if it is Chaulk, because of the lead time needed to manufacture and ship them Chaulk wouldn't have been with the team when the order was placed.
My wife and I have been playing this guessing game for awhile.
Schrock or Warner, possibly Sims are my choices.
KometsfanX, what do you mean by "k sims"?
Komets at 32% now in the poll.

I will guess:
Burgee with his hand up ordering another Foo Foo.
The Komets looked very good last night on the road.
I hope they turn around and play another good game at home today. I saw a team last night that finally got a lead and put the pedal to the metal "so to speak" and continued to go to the net.
Gotta keep it going tonight.
I am very happy for Apod. Great night, maybe this gives him the confidence to start lighting things up.....he has been close game in and game out.
The Chaulk short hander was a thing of beauty and effort....he chased a puck from mid-ice with a PT player draped onto him to the goal and went behind it and wrapped it around to beat the goalie for a goal......it was awesome.
Last night was the type of game we have been expecting to see from these guys all season.
