I am from Auburn and never heard of him or knew he was from here, a very good read, thanks!

Yes, I remember the "Stick Boy"! He was a cool kid back than and I am sure he has turned into a very nice young man! Bring those Blackhawks home a winner!

Great story Blake! I actually played high school and house league against Reif back in high school. He played goalie and I was a forward. Proud to say that I scored the only goal on him in the 6th round of a shoot-out in the playoff semi-final game to put my team in the house league final. The shootout was scoreless and we were down to our 5th shooter and I begged my coach (Colin Lister) to put me in. He didn't. Our guy missed. So in the 6th round coach put me in and I nailed it...Top shelf to the stick side. I'll never forget that game. Ahhhhh....a stroll down Memory Lane!

OMG....Harbz! It's a Harbz sighting!! Good to see you on here, man. You were always a good guy. And good job with the shootout....sounds like you were pretty impressive! Do you still play? There's a summer tourney going on at Canlan that I know they are trying to round up players/teams for. It's the weekend of the 25th of June.

Blueline....yeah, I do more reading than chiming in on here...but every once in a while when the spirit moves me. As far as me being impressive...it may have been more luck than anything. But I was wondering this: If the Blackhawks go on to win the Stanley Cup, can I say that I scored on a Stanley Cup winning goalie? It's a stretch I know. :-) I've not played in about 5 years...but I did get an invite to play in the tourney you are speaking of and it has my wheels turning.

Well, get your stick turning, my good man. I'll most likely be there, as a cheerleader of course. Let me know what team you're on and what day and time you'll be playing if you do decide to do it. It would be fun...come on, all the cool kids are doing it...LOL....

And yes, you can say you've scored on a Stanley Cup winning goalie. Hey, who's gonna dispute you? ;)
