And how many wins did the other teams have against Laredo, Rio Grande Valley, Arizona, Mississippi and Odessa, all with worse records then Dayton.

I think the record during the month of March is more telling... In 15 games they went 6-5-4 for 16 points...

Former IHL2 teams = 4-4-1
Traditional CHL teams = 2-2-2

3 wins against Evansville, 1 against Dayton
3 losses to Bloomington, 1 to Evansville

Bloomington outscored us 14-5 in the month of March...

I know the slate is wiped clean in the playoffs; but to ignore what happened during the regular season, especially the final month of the season leading up to the playoffs is silly, IMO... I dont have a warm fuzzy feeling heading into the playoffs. I would like to see the K's go deep in the playoffs; but wouldnt bet on it...

I'm rooting for the Komets, big time, but am still worried going into the playoffs. I know everyone is on the "We just took 3 of 4 points from Colorado so we're awesome again" bandwagon, but as streaky as this team has been all year, I think that's a bit of a dangerous ride.

What happens if this team loses a heartbreaker in a shootout after a hard-fought game? Do they come back from it angry? Do they go into pout-mode like we've seen for 2-3 week spans all season and play at well below 71% and allow a lack of effort and heart knock them out of the playoffs?

I REALLY hope I'm wrong and this team just goes on a tear through the playoffs. I hope we all see the team no one wanted to play against through the early part of the new year up until about the beginning of March.

I asked on another thread and got no official answer, but does anyone know OFFICIALLY who the Komets are leaving off the roster besides Mirasty? Someone said Warner had said he'd been left off, but I haven't seen it written anywhere.

I was wondering about that as I wrote it, Tim, but wasn't sure. I know in the IHL you played until a win, but didn't know about the C.
