He was named the UHL's best defensive forward today for the third time in his career. It's the fourth season in a row that a Komet has won the honor after Sean Venedam won it last year. I think that's very impressive because this was not an especially good defensive team during the regular season, and you can really see during the playoffs how much he and Troy Neumeier have been missed at the defensive end of the ice.

Colin....as a favorite song title reminds me....Wish You Were Here....or in Rockford tonight to play, of course. Since our brilliant coach wants you as far away from the team as possible. Anyone ever figure that one out? Why would coach tell Chaulk to stay home the first 2 games of an important series anyway? He doesn't value the captains leadership with his teammates? Very Curious...
Puhalski must think he's a junior grade Herb Brooks playing mind games.
I just think he's an idiot.
I'd have to agree with Hit, Colin should be there he is the biggest leader of the team. I'm also wondering why he's not even behind the bench at the home games. Was he even there last night? Tuesday he was up in section 211 but that's a far way from behind the bench leading these guys to a big victory.
Chaulker was at the game last night, i walked right by him leaving last night...and yep, he's still in his boot...
Thanks for a great season, Komets! See you next year!
