Congrats Guy!!!
That #2 will be hanging in the rafters some day.
Great job Guy!!!!
Nice job holding on for the win tonight K's....
Congrats Guy.
thataboy, guy!!!
A legend, for sure. Well done, sir. :D
Clear out the space in the rafters the day after he retires.
Way to go, Guy!
And from what i hear Snuff, it wont be next year. He wants to play one more year!
Some time ago, I posted a few thoughts on how during these last few home games we need to pay attention to and appreciate those Komets who won't be coming back. I mentioned that one or two will have their banners hung from the Coliseum rafters. Guy Dupuis is certainly one of them. Longevity, success, respect, and numbers virtually assure this. A more "professional" player has never donned a Komets uniform.
Who else noticed that during the last two or three shifts on Chaulk's line, Shafranov was replaced by Rodger? I know Shaf made a couple of questionable passes (one led to an Icehawk goal), but I would be surprised that Sims would pull him. I hope he is not hurt.
Flint's Pascal Rheaume was called up to Peoria.
To those who celebrate this day, Easter (Ressurection Day), in the right spirit, have a blessed time. Enjoy your families and friends as no one knows how long we have each other. Don't waste any time. We do have a promise, however, and that makes all the difference.
That is nice Alan.
Thank you, Mightbite. I'm not quite as bad a guy as some would have you to believe (especially if you read both blogs).
I forgot to mention that after my little rant regarding the lack of a Komet powerplay, it certainly was nice to see THREE powerplay goals last night. It turned out that the K's needed each of them, right?
I can't say I've seen much on the other blog, Alan, but I think you're probably one of the nicer bloggers on here who thinks before he writes, and usually knows what he's talking about. I try to take lessons from your example, just can't get the knack for it yet LOL!
I like to fill my posts with sunshine and rainbows....
Congrats Guy!!!
Alan, can you go on a rant about the price of gas?
