"I always wanted to come back to Fort Wayne. This opportunity will be a great moment for me. I love Fort Wayne, the city and playing in front of that many fans, and you know the Frankes are always going to work hard to make sure we have a winner.''
On the chances to get a call-up: ``That's something that my agents and the Komets are working on right now. I talked to P.C. about this before I made my decision. He's been a great, great friend to me, and he said even if I play in the ECHL or the CHL, if I go to a camp and really impress someone, they are going to call me up no matter where I'm playing. We have to know that if you are a free agent in the CHL or the ECHL, there are still going to be a lot of call-ups. It's about you more than it is the league.''
On showing more leadership: ``After talking with Al Sims and David about that, I see that as a challenge for me. I think it's very exciting. I always loved to be part of that family, and I want to have a bigger role. It's exciting.''

Is that a positive statement about the Komets, our fans, the Franke's and the team. Makes all those negative nillies about the CHL/IHL look like they don't know what they are talking about.
This team is just going to be one of the best. I am looking forward to a very exciting season under whatever moniker they want to call it.
Love these comments. Curdy was all hustle in his first stint as a Komet. I couldn't be happier to have him back. PC is already play at 100% as a recruiter.
Agree 100% with everything said and the coments by Curdy.
Welcome back!
This is why the Frankes have more than "one vote" in the Board of Governors, figuratively speaking. People would have to be interested in what they have to say, considering the instable environment of minor league sports.
I have a Curadeau hockey card when he played JR hockey :)
