Now the question remains. Why did Hardy keep Leighton from entering the room? My guess is Hardy felt it rude to enter a private meeting between coach and players. I agree but sounds as if this bunch is showing how green in experience they are. Leighton is just upset he got tapped out by hardy. LOL!

Could be that they are all tense from losing a boatload of money without the Komets annual subsidy they had in the IHL2.

Did you see one of the sub-stories below where the IRS has filed a lien against the PT, alleging they owe more than $23,000?

The real question is who would win a fight between the Frankes? I have David in a massacre.

Be funny to put them in the sumo suits and have them go at it between periods what a promotion that would be! Probably sell the place out

I'd like to see Blake Vs Justin in a press box ladder match.
I can promise that one won't be a sleeper!

Hit,

I think the question should be what flavor were the brats....did Blake have the beer brats, cheddar, or something extra spicy?

Man...I've NEVER...EVER heard of anything like that before!!!

...and I used to work for the Professional Indoor Soccer teams in this city...so that gives you an idea of how big it is when I...say I've never heard of anything like that before!

Making my first trip to Bloomington Sat. for game.
What would be the best route...69 to 74 or 24 accross. Thanks for any help.

Veks,
Looks like the best way is to take 69 to 465 to exit 140 (Lebanon) which is highway 32 for about 10 miles. That highway runs into 74 which you take for another 123 miles to Bloomington.

Sorry Veks,
it's 465 to 865 west then on to 65 then to exit 140 to 74 west.

If you take 24, you'll be going thru a lot of small towns with a lot of cops who are really bored. I've never been stalked by cops before like Ive been on 24, seemed like they called ahead to the next town to let them know I was coming BUT Ive never been pulled over, other people I know have been tho. It's 10x worse at night.

We always just go 69 to 465 to 74...

Snuff, instead of Blake vs. Justin in a press box ladder match.

Wouldn't it be better to watch two junior reporters go at it instead of two veterans??

Maybe. Depends on if they are two college co eds....nevermind. My wife may read this LOL.
Can you picture Bob Chase calling a boxing match....
"whoa...look out...."

Alan

Snuff, I wonder if Bob Chase ever called a boxing match?

Sometimes while listening to Chase broadcast a game, I get a little impatient with him him describing the action. Particularly after a whistle for a penalty. He never seems to want to let you know what team is penalized, instead he concentrates on who was penalized and gets into his "can't tell ya...still can't tell ya" routine. I mean, look, there's a number of clues. A goaltender rushes to the bench, who controlled the puck when the whistle blew, which penalty box door is opening up, etc. Obviously if I'm listening to the game he is my "eyes". I care a lot more about what team it's on then what player so I know who has the power play. Everything else will come clear.

Yet, saying all that, he is still remarkable. Going into his 59th season of being the voice of the Komets. He is a fixture and I hope he will be allowed to broadcast his 60th season the year after next.

No one lives forever and he is truly the "Voice of the Komets" and we should appreciate him while we can.

I hate it that I missed "Thundermania".

I'd be likely to pull something climbing up the ladder.

I have been going to Komets games for 40+ years. I have never seen a Brat served in the building. Just really bad hot dogs and polish sausage that are even worse. Heart burn delites. I really like any type of bratworst. I know Brugee likes weiners and Foo Foo's.

I ate the Beef Manhattan which was wonderful. Don't do too well with bratwursts after got food poisoning from one in college and then got mono for the rest of the summer. Not good. Skinniest I've ever been after that.

If they had a ladder climbing contest between Blake & J.C. someone would need to wake J.C. up or he would miss the contest.
