PC, I think, works better when there's some cohesion going for him. With all the trades and cut and injuries I don't think he had the same linemates for more than 3 games at a time.

That is very true. He is certainly talented, probably one of the best "one on one" players in the league. He needs to have guys on his line that will be able to pass "blindly" to spots with him and that takes lots of time to develop confidence and chemistry.

You guys have forgotten one thing about PC...and I am not his biggest fan either, admittedly. He is a winger. Mr. Chief made him play center for the final 2/3's of the season and he did not play well in that role. He was very uncomfortable in that role. He won very little faceoffs, and he was unable to distribute the puck to his linemates like good centers can. I don't blame him for this either. This was another example of a "boo-boo" of that wonderful coach last year. He insisted on moving Kelly Miller to the wing, and PC to center. In my opinion, it was the stupidist move last year, and one that hurt the team in a major way. PC plays much better when he is hanging around the net and not counted on to make the big plays. He plays better when he has guys on his line that can be the playmakers, and he can finish off the play.

Greg --

Actually the CHL weekly pay limit has been LESS than the UHL. Players come to the UHL to make more. The CHL has raised their limit this year to, if memory serves, $10,000. I wouldn't be surprised if the UHL raises theirs this year, too.

The CHL plays a shorter schedule, I think, 66 games or so.
