If they changed teams within the past three weeks, the listings might be a tad off, but I think they are pretty accurate. According to HockeyDB, Wally Schreiber is still active, playing for the Hannover Scorpions in Germany.
Maybe I'm behind the times; but it looks like the Richmond Riverdogs are moving the franchise to Hoffman Estates, Illinois next year. Will that possibly mean another division realignment for next year???? The UHL website is reporting this, Robbie Nichols is being sent out to Chicago to start the relocation phase and Kris Waltze is taking over as coach for the remainder of the year...any info???
Wally is included later in the week for guys who are in Europe. JR, I have no idea, and I'm sure no one else does either yet. That will be decided this summer.
It sounds like Nichols will move to Illinois and Waltze will take over as coach of Richmond. There is no decision on the return on Richmond to the league next year. If not, I suspect some of the players will be offered a job in Illinois next year. If Richmond comes back, there will be two teams. From the tone of the article, current management in Richmond didn't seem to optimistic of a return.
