With the sweep, nobody is talking about the numerous defensive breakdowns the K's had in game three that Boucher mostly kicked out. Maybe Phillips needs to be reinserted into the lineup for Rapid City??? They have alot more fire power than Bloomy.

Also, what new twists will Sims come up with for round 2? Is the new PP setup going to work against a team that will have had more than a week to plan for?

Just a couple thoughts today and now an opinion... When the K's played high intensity puck pressure play, they were dominate against the Thunder and they had no answer; but when they sat back a little, it gave Bloomy the chance to play thier game and get back into it.... Lets hope they can continue the intensity...

Keep in mind that this was the third game. In the first two games the Ks shut bloomy down. It wasn't until the third game that Christie started figuring things out. But to judge on one game of the series is unfair. If you take the series as a whole the Komets played excellent D. Guy stepped up in a big way as well.

Regardless, if they have those breakdowns against Rapid City, they're in trouble.... The Rush has Alot more offense then Blommy and to disregard that is silly. And there's not much to figure out...when the Komets played up tempo, they dominated... When they started to sit back, they got into trouble.

There is nothing unfair about it... A breakdown is a breakdown, whether its game one or game 5. In the playoffs EVERY breakdown can kill you, the K's are just very fortunate to have an excellent playoff goalie between the pipes...

The only time Bloomy dominted the Komets is when they started hitting with good forechecking, backchecking and winning the races to the puck the Ks can beat any team this year. Give Al Sims a little credit here what he put into play was nothing less than brilliant this last week. I'd venture to say he's got the Ks back and we don't need to worry about implenting our own agenda here because we (the collective we) think we may have seen something the coach did not.

What "agenda" are you talking about?

To sit back and rest on your laurels from a first round win is folly, in my opinion... And I would be willing to bet a months pay that Sims is not. He will need to make adjustments for the second round because the Rush will have film and they will make adjustments ... K 's haven't won anything yet as you seem to think they have... still 4 rounds to go and you have to tighten up the ship as you go along or you'll sink...

You have to excuse him JR, he got into the "special" batch of orange kool-aid...

I'll drink more if they can not only sweep the 3rd place team in the conference but the first place team. Give them some credit and stop the negative posting.

Who has said anything negative? There's a big difference between negativity and realism

Lets put it this way, kometswin.... If the Colts beat the Jets week 1 of the playoffs do you think they take that game plan since it worked into week 2 vs. the Patriots,

OR

Do they game plan for the Patriots, watch film of the Patriots and also watch film of thier game vs the Jets to see what worked against them and try to fix those problem areas???
