General observation of last two games out played last night and at times tonight. lost a lot of little battles tonight and it cost them. PK also not helping either

Komets take to many penalties, and yes the PK is terrible. Well, on 2nd thought specials have been terrible.

Looked like most of the game was penalty kill, not because it was, but because we played so poorly. Hoping they shake it off and get back on track like Friday night.

QC had six power plays, took 11 shots and scored two goals while giving up three shots on goal.
FW had four power plays, with two of them at the end of the second being partially combined and a brief 5 0n 3, took six shots and gave up two..
Special teams needs some work.
One goal that Bouch gave up (I think the full strength one) looked kind of weak, but he may have been blocked by one of the Komets, Frankie maybe?

Sims needs to go, its time for a change and a different look. we have the talent and the players. Not enough effort starts at the top.

Im no expert but it looks to me like the team spent too much time preparing for Rapid City and not enough time worrying about the other two games on the schedule this weekend! Dont get em wrong. Im glad we beat the Rush. But was that win worth the 2 points when we could have 4 points with the other two wins? Everybody is dangerous in the CHL and maybe the Komets ought to remember that.
