The Komets were lucky they held on to the lead and won tonight. They were flat and lacked any spark in the third period. There were more Komet icings in the the third period than there are in a normal game. Guess they were just too tired from the rough schedule this week. Boucher saves the day again!

Bouch is the MVP so far!! He is playing great. Gotta stay away from those 1 goal leadsin the third!!, man sittin on the edge of our seat the last 2 minutes lol!! They had enough in them to hold em off!!! Great week, 8 points!!! Lets Go Komets! Everyone have a Happy New Year!!!!

If he was good , he would be in the AHL. He's just good enough to play at the lower AA level.

Oh boy, let's discuss the AHL. That's always a positive discussion, any takers? We need a loss so we can talk about how bad everything is before the AHL ECHL dead horse discussion gets started again.
I would like some really intelligent person to address that argument, wait, the really intelligent ones won't discuss something so "non-intelligent".

He is 31 years old. Hockey fan, you clearly haven't a clue how the AHL works. It is stocked by the NHL clubs-they decide who plays there. The are prospects, not veterans (there are a few exceptions). They are young players. And every NHL puts their goalies there, not free agent agent goalies that may or may not have the skill level. They (the NHL clubs) call the shots.

I'm not bashing Boucher. I just think it's funny the way people talk about him here like he's the best goalie that ever played. When in fact he's just a good goalie that is at the lower AA level.

You need to understand how hockey works though. He was under a Penguins contract. But you have a small window to make it. If you don't there's someone behind you (Fleury). Way it is. Doesn't mean he wasn't or isn't good enough to be there. The reality is, the NHL teams dictate who plays on their AHL teams.
