It's a pretty busy week for Komets defenseman Guy Dupuis to receive awards. For the third season in a row, Dupuis was named the league's Outstanding Defenseman today. The 38-year old leads all IHL blueliners with 16 goals, 67 points and a plus-32 rating. He also ranks second on the team in scoring behind P.C. Drouin.
Wednesday night Dupuis will officially pass Eddie Long for the Komets' all-time career games played record with 867. Long will be on hand to congratulate Dupuis on the achievement after the opening faceoff. The News-Sentinel will publish a poster of Dupuis on Monday commemorating the event.
They are going to have this presentation immediately after the opening faceoff on Wednesday so don't delay getting to your seat.

Still time to visit with Guy tonight at 7pm...St Michael Lutheran Church 2131 Getz Road (Times Corners area...south of Illinois Road...large A frame church)
Guy and Jake Pence and Blake will be there talking about the role their faith has as a hockey player. All men and young men are invited!
Without a doubt the most deserving individual and all around nice guy. Congrats Guy!
I'll be the one who looks nothing like a player.
Congratulations to Guy! A very classy gentleman on and off the ice.
I'm not saying he shouldn't be concerned, but to worry about it to the point where it ruins the enjoyment of a great season can be scary. At least give them a chance to see what they can do.
Blog foul, blogmaster posting stuff in the wrong section
Congrats Guy!!! On another note, Burgee will be getting an Ice Cream cone after the game with tomorrow night's referee and linesmen.

Oh that. I think you are reading too much into it. Hit is always like that. He's the Dr. McCoy of this team. ;)

I'd love to go to Kzoo, Burgee. Whatever happened that night was not my fault. I think someone slipped something in my drink!
