This is an Associated Press story you can read here. It's going to get worse before it gets better, folks. This summer could be incredibly busy with teams folding and maybe even jumping leagues. That could end up benefitting the IHL.
Brother, can you spare a dime? Or a twenty? A twenty would be good.
I've been kind of surprised that so far the downturn doesn't seem to have affected the Komets very much. That being said, I haven't been to nearly as many games as I had hoped to attend this season. I just haven't been able to afford it. At this point, picking up a value meal from McDonald's is splurging.
But it would be nice if the IHL benefited from this mess. At least some good would come of it.

In most of the struggling markets....I think the line goes more like...."Hey, Buddy! Can you spare a $100 K, maybe $200 K ???"
