Nice work, Blake! When you listen to Mike Emrick call a hockey game you are hearing the best. He makes everything seem so smooth with his description of the play and then adds to the enjoyment by injecting bits of infromation regarding a player, a league, or the history of the game. Nothing is ever forced as he has the God-given ability to make the listener think he is talking just to them. He is so good at what he does that the listener is flowing along with the game as he describes it. His talent is only surpassed by his love of hockey and his desire to share that love and make it a most pleasurable experience for the listeners. Thank you, Mike Emrick!

Love the article Blake...Quick Question..Huck I believe is either going to play this weekend or next and can come off IR any time. Will the K's have to make a roster spot available? Second question when is the trade deadline for IHL? NHL was today and kind of uneventful I would anticpate the same for the IHL, but was just wondering.

Doc gave me some advice before doing our first game of the week broadcast in 1988 and it sure helped! He is a class gentleman and i just love his work!!
