Komets lost 5-4 after coming back from a 4-2 deficit in the third period to tie, but all five Muskegon goals were the result of defensive mistakes. Give the Lumberjacks credit. They have a very talented team, easily the best the Komets have faced so far. Still, the Komets held the Todd Robinson line scoreless but lost. They also have a two-man advantage in the final four minutes and couldn't get a shot on net.

what i think dont really matter but here it goes anyways, yes our defence gave up the puck way to much in our own zone trying to clear it, but lets not take all the blame off of Boucher either. from what ive seen so far out of boucher this is not the same guy that tooks us thru the playoffs last year, i dont think in this time of the season that he has deserved to get every other start. but i dont agree with this every other game anyways you play the goalie who play the best against the team your playing that nite not whos turn it is in rotation. do we all remember last season when we out our little agatatior and fighter (woods) with chaulks line and it seemed to work cause the other team was always looking over their shoulder to see where woods was at which freed up chaulk and curadeau, maybe we should try that again this season with macmillan. i say give these lines a chance and see what happens.... line 1 chaulk shafranov macmillan with guy and pc on "D" line 2 varone hukalo and curadeau with bertrem and pence on "D" line 3 o'conner field and gravelle with boulay and warner on "D" checking line Macmillan gravelle legault with boulay and bertrem on "D" power play unit chaulk curadeau and pc with bertrem and guy on "D" short handed line varone o'conner with guy and pc on "D" think we cut or losses now and get rid of holladay and mironovic and get another pair of "D" men. i think we give these lines a chance and see wht happens think it would be interesting to watch.
We still have a great team. The Fury Jacks are for real. Their Goalie might be the best in the league....period. It will be fun to actually have a team that is as good as us or better this year. The Komets just need to settle things down on the line-combinations and get a few guys healthy and they will role. We need Legault and Warner back....and oh yeah...Osman is a big part of this team.
Any chance the K's lock in on a Veteran D-Man hanging around out there looking for a new team? They really need one more veteran D-Man that can man the point and score.
i agree with you "hit somebody" we do need another vetern "D" man like i said a few days back we need to go after Sean Gagnon and bring him back i know hes not playing anywhere, and the Frankes know and should remember what he can bring to the table for this team.

Wow way to many early christmas by the Komets tonight. First period was not good for the Ks..the inability to score with the two man advantage was the key late in the game. Its a long season and the defense will tighten as Al will see to that!
