Jogging, growing some pumpkin plants, watching episodes of MST3K I missed via YouTube, working on my book. As a big fan of Jackie Chan, I went to see the new "Karate Kid" movie. I think a young mother and her son who left the theater a few steps ahead of me summed it up best. The mom said, "That was a long movie..." Then the boy chimed in quickly, "But it was GOOD!" Also went to the zoo on Sunday. Took a bunch of pictures of sleeping animals. It was nice though. Hard to beat chillin' out with the animals.

Go, Hershey Bears!! They're ahead 2-0 right now...
And, Blake, we live and breathe hockey in my house....it never stops for us. I have one in spring league right now, then it will be the 3 on 3 league. After that, it might get a little dicey for a couple weeks until fall season starts. There's always Monday night class, though.
I did just get another "distraction"....my new little nephew was born a month early yesterday. I'm sure he'll keep us all busy running back and forth to the NICU. He's a little guy....4 lbs 6.5 oz, but 18 in long! He's doing better than anyone expected him to. Keep him in your thoughts, if you all would! Thanks!!

Hershey wins!! Back to back Calder Cups! Yeah.....
I've started putting some serious time and work into a photo project about Main Street here in the Fort. This is one of those things that sort of started a couple of years ago unintentionally, became more organized in thought last year, and is finally in the beginning stages of being put together.
The project itself will be ongoing and last for many more years unless I get board with it.
Added a few shots this last week but mostly have been sorting and organizing. Organizing my photos is the hardest part for me. Give me a job and I'm extremely well organized. Give me a hobby and things pile up everywhere.

Yes, shame on the Hershey Bears for giving thier 9200 loyal fans AAA hockey, a Washington Capitals affiliation, affordable ticket prices and for beating up on all those poor AAA NHL affiliated teams in the American Hockey League....

I have decided to only support teams like the Pittsburgh Pirates, Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Clippers and the Cleveland Browns. I will be a thankful fan to the owners who provide me with a high level professional team and be very happy with the fact that I don't have to worry about them beating up on anybody.

Er... Is there some slang there I'm not aware of? Never mind. I don't know if anything will come of them, but I just like planting seeds and watching them grow.
