I thought the Komets were going to wear their orange jerseys on Friday night, which I happen to like very much. I guess it goes back to when the Komets wore white shoulder boards on their white jerseys which I didn't care for at all.
My two favorite Komets jerseys are:

The worst? That's easy:

So, which ones are your favorites. You can find them here?

That was a fun project because Ken Dutton is such a great artist, and it was kind of like a big puzzle. We wanted to make sure each player was dressed in a jersey that they actually wore as a player, and we also wanted to make sure we got every Komets jersey used as well. Took about four days to figure it all out, but it was worth it. We also did a lot of research on all of the Komets' old logos during that time and found a couple of ones we didn't know they had.

Anything that Robbie Laird wore!
I really like all 3 of the jerseys the Komets wear now, they all have that "old-time" look to them, especially the orange ones with the "FW" logo. I would like to see the black jeseys with a vertical "FORT WAYNE" down the front, similar to Muskegon's black jerseys.
Also, every year, the Komets should pick a jersey design from the past and where that jersey for a few games, then auction them off. I would think that they would be more popular than some of those goofy holiday jerseys they come up with. Not looking forward to this years "holiday" jerseys. :(
My favorites have to be the Capn Komet jerseys of the mid sixties. http://jordan.fortwayne.com/ns/sports/allkomet/1128_14.php
I also like the first ones. http://jordan.fortwayne.com/ns/sports/allkomet/1128_10.php
I also would love to see the Komets do an old jersey every year.
Yes Bring back captain Komet! Here is an idea: Lets have a contest once where the fans create a jersey. The problem i see with that is the Komet management saying its too much money.
Which actually might be the truth. Heaven forbid.
