Frankie talk is heating up.
Either he is coming.....or he is being lured with all thi talk.
He is a big piece of the puzzle.
But if they give him "#1" type money.....does that pretty much doom us in signing 2-3 top scorers?
I see a situation here.
Milam is more of an offensive threat than DeAngelis. I understand Frankie was the stud Dman last year where scoring was concerned, but he really was the only one with offensive ability with the exception of a slowing and aging Guy Dupuis (said with respect and appreciation).
Cescon and Phillips aren't going to light the lamp. I don't want them to either.
Ratchuk skated around a lot.
Molle was a solid blue liner that passed effiecently.
Frankie was about it... If we can add another guy in addition to Milam and Frankie we'd be light years ahead of last season defensively.
I still think a bonafide #1 dman has been something we have lacked for years. It's a lot to toss onto the shoulders of a third year pro. Look at how that turned out for Curadeau.
