Will the negative people come out now since we won or will they hide, my guess they will hide

B2'd the game starting in the 2nd period (after my inlaws left, thank goodness) and it looked like we dominated. Not sure how we looked in the 1st but it must have been good. When we get everyone healthy, I have a feeling we're going to see another big home win streak. This offensive outburst will do big things for their confidence. I bet Brucey was pissed. LOL Way to go boys, another 5 point weekend.

They must not have left too many scoring chances on the table tonite. Awesome to see them score 10 goals especially against Muskegon who has been a thorn in our side.

Blake, the way you have your entry worded makes it sound like they have not scored 10 goals since March 25, 2000.

The Komets scored 11 goals in the home opener of this year.

You're right. I was looking at the media guide and had just spotted that on the game log. I'll fix it. Thanks.

Anybody else notice decent crowds in Flint and Port Huron lately. Holy cow, if that keeps up some people will have nothing to gripe about.

Blake, you mean there won't be anymore AHL talk from some people? Man that will be disappointing.

There will always be talk, but just listen to how people are always complaining about paying for parking. Think they'll ever pay for AHL prices?

I think Mark Versteeg-Lytwyn earned Player of The Week, if not Player of The Month. Considering the injuries, etc. this was an impressive performance.....I hope they saved something for Sunday!

I too, noticed the larger crowds in Flint and Port Huron. For their sake I hope that trend continues.

Since I did not get to hear the entire game (had guests over) can anyone tell me if Rammer blew a gasket tonight?

THAT's what I'M talking about! :)

I really got the feeling that this team had turned a corner last weekend, playing with more passion and determination than I had seen them show all season. And yes, I'm even talking about those first few games, because I just didn't sense it then, even though they were winning. It shows a lot of character to face down the kind of adversity they have been facing. They are showing that character now. Go Komets!

Great game for the Komets. They dominated the game bigtime!!! Watched it on B2 and they were crashing the net from the get-go. Potts was playing some fine hockey as well. It really looked good. He split time as a forward and defenseman last night. I saw him in front of the net often and he really looked good.

MVL...can you say recent team MVP? This kid has come in and shined. The line of Thomas, Drouin, and MVL looked unstoppable last evening. Very impressed with them.

Also, Tarantino is continuing to look great. I said it...GREAT. He is playing very solid defense. He is the type of player that this team was missing. He plays gritty and smart all together. Kudos to him. Shows you how a kid can get cut, pick himself back up, and prove that he did belong after all. He is a keeper no matter who comes back from injuries.

The effort last night was the effort that the Komets have shown for 2 weeks now. Lots of great looks on net, the difference, they were going into the back of the net. Keep up the energy and effort, and this team will hit it's stride.

Go Komets!!!

Us doubters still here Burgee...We score 10 last night in a fluke of a game and again we are struggling against the last place team in the IHL...

Consider the logistics of the weekend, wednesday would be more of a normal game to make an assumption of play type against bloomington, we've locked up 4 of 6 on the road and can still add a 5th

Get ready, I don't think the nay sayers can bash the team for getting 5 of 6 points on the road so let me guess....they are going to bash the IHL all week instead. What a GREAT weekend for the K's

The only thing that I have bashed is the lack of a physical and tough hockey club. We still don't have that compared to last year. After watching the better half of the first part of the year, I have chosen not to attend the games because of that factor call me spoiled because of last years club, but I just can't stand to watch non-physical hockey at the minor league level. Have they played well over the last two weekends most definately yes and on that everyone has to agree under the circumstances this club is under
