Blake is a good friend but I assure you all I do not want his job. I am into reading his books and doing stats. I retired one time and working on two times. But a reporter parexcelate I will never be. I do not think I spelled that right. I just help him make money on his "blog"

My job is already promised to Hunter Sosenheimer.

I don't think Hunter should get the job... Sosenheimer is way too much to spell when you're trying to rip off a quick blog hit.
Blake: Can you use some of this extra money you're making from these huge blog posts to get the Coliseum to cut us a break on paying to park in a lot they never use the money to improve? Or maybe just have a free drink night at a K's game for your loyal bloggers? Better yet, how about a bar-b-que at your new mansion at Sycamore Hills that we're buying??
Wow, we seriously need some more hockey. It'll be interesting seeing what other goodies manifest from this blog throughout the course of the summer...

Hunter needs a stage name! Sorry!! How about Hunter Sosa? Sure sounds better anyway and it's shorter. Sammy will not mind he don't need it any more. Can you tell it's late and past my bedtime?

What are the chances that the Polar Dome in Dundee, IL gets remodeled in time to be the home of the Chicago (Dundee) Hounds this coming season?

I'm hearing more next year. But Quad City is looking better every day for this year.

Chicago is a member in good-standing....isn't that how they have always described the Hounds franchise....it is just a matter of that team finding a place to play. I can't see how the Polar Dome could be improved without tearing it down and starting from scratch.

Quad City has to be announced and ready to go in like a couple of days right? I mean this team needs some time to get marketing, ticket sales, advertising, player scouting, front office, scheduling, etc......something has to give pretty soon or else.

Any word coming out on Flint yet? This is the team that is make or break in my book. No change in Flint, and this league is hanging out there. I know Flint is getting hit hard with the economy, more so than most places.....Is Flint ever going to work, honestly?

When will we get official word out of the IHL meetings? Will there be a teleconference like in years past or what are yo hearing Blake? I think it is important that the league addresses alot of issues and does so swiftly and precisely. The fans deserve it.

Probably not until tomorrow, but I'm staying up late making phone calls. QC is different because they had hockey there last year and have a staff in place so it wouldn't be that hard. I'm hearing some really, really good things about the new owners, etc. Flint, we'll have to wait and see, but it couldn't get any worse, now could it?

It will probably be just like every other league meetings, and they won't say much for a couple of days when everybody gets back this way.

I just hope for the sake of all the other cities in the IHL....that the new owners aren't "Buddy's" or Frankes....LOL.....I am tired of listening to K-Zoo whiners say that the Frankes own all the teams and thus they win all the cups.

QC in is big in my opinion.

Is St. Charles, Missouri considered in the IHL Footprint these days? Every think they might go back to that area?

Bloomington, Quad City, Evansville, and add one more team to that little division and that is solid.

Fort Wayne, Dayton, maybe a Cincy and INDY....any chance Louisville sneaks in? Then Toledo bolts the ECHL and wises up to the fact that the IHL is the way to go.

Kalamazoo will squarely be on an Island with thumbs inserted squarely in......well you know. LOL I won't shed a tear. I think when all is said and done in a few years, K-Zoo will regret this decision....bigtime. But enough about Paulsy and friends....

The IHL is on the track of success it seems. Can't wait to roadtrip to Dayton in October.....

Does Dayton have a mascot doll yet? Roadtrip roadtrip

This just out of Dayton: MASCOTS AND DOLLS! Coming soon to an ice surface near you. ;)

The Frankes own all the teams? Now that's just silly. If that were true, they'd be perfectly happy no matter which team won, now wouldn't they?

The Frankes own all the teams!!! Now that is funny!! I would amagine it is a large enough headache owning just one. I would admit they sure do a great job with it. I just don't get why anyone whats to say that. Maybe just plain old jealousy. Business people know what a GREAT job they have done. That is why they spend money with the team. Other people like their business model and try to follow it. That is the highest form of flatery. God Bless them, all 5 of them for taking the risk so long ago. In 1990 we did not have a team. Just look at us now. Back to Back "Turner Cup" Champions. Eat your hearts out Kalamazoo.

Will they name their doll jimmy and will he wear a fonzie jacket.

We are going to hang the slappy doll this weekend, stick a fork in him, if he happens to survive the lynching and the forking I will take him to the gun range and finish him off next week.
Anyone know where I can get a lumberjack doll?

I'm just waiting for a Primus jab. You've all been pretty harsh to his perfect, always correct, super-terrific-happy-fun show Kzoo (OK, so that was an obscure Seinfeld reference, but it made me smile) and he/she hasn't said much. Did Kzoo start their own blog and he's left us?
Well, if/when it comes, Primus, be kind. We are just bored and shooting the breeze with some fun. You can only polish the Cup so many times...

Where do you find all this stuff, Brandan? You're an Internet guru for sure.

Brandon is the unemployed "Big Guy" from Flint. He knows alot of good stuff. He secretly wishes he could be a Komet fan. His bark is not nearly as Savage as he would have us think.

Um....no, that's not "Brandon", that's "Brendan". I'm Brandan...Komet season ticket holder since the 2003-2004 season (213-1-4) who just happens to also be obsessive compulsive, AND I have a lot of time on my hands.

OOPS! So sorry! Please forgive me. I am just a confused old man. Spelling has never been my strong suit. Brendan is really a BIG pussy cat. I still think that he would like to be a Komet fan. I hope he lands on his feet I know he lost his job in Flint. A lot of people have up there.

This just in, Todd Robinson drove by LC Walker arena today and picked up 2 assists and a short handed goal.

Some of you know what I'm talking about

Burgee!! I liked that a whole bunch! I sure know what you mean. I bet they gave at one or two more assists to The bird man "Robin" Booochard.

Those guys pick up points in the IHL like Urlacher picks up tackles for the Bears in the NFL. The guy is 14 yards from the play and they either give him a tackle or a half a sack...
