Leo comes to play every game. He shows up every shift. You can talk to him. I don't think he likes the smell of the locker room because he sits on the bench between periods. I love his attitude. He is one of those guys that could be a Komet for a long time. Well, I can hope can't I?

I was reading usa hockey magazine and they had a Q&A with scott bokal, it said he works up to 8 different leagues at a time. This answers a lot of my questions on inconsistancy.
When I did auditing, before the audit I always brushed up on the rules for the area I was auditing. I couldn't remember all the specifics to each area that I was to audit, but this brief study made things go smooth.
I'm going to take a stab at this and guess that minor leagues don't have a game day cheat sheet for the officials like bokal to review prior to the game on rule differences. I've watched games and often wondered if the ref knew the rules, if they are doing that many leagues and some leagues follow all the nhl rules and some don't then it could be very easy to get them confused.
One game this year one of the refs was calling a penalty(I think it was hooking) every other minute, clearly something was wrong with the ref (confused) because I don't think the players play style differ that much from game to game.
I know its the minor leagues, but screwed up officiating turns me off as a fan.

Burgee isn't being negative; just stating the obvious. Being negative on our K's is one thing but stating how terrible the officiating has been is just stating a fact. I only hope which ever league we play in next year that the officials have a clue. We have Hoberg again tonight. Great. I never thought I would rather have Searle! Looking forward to going to Kzoo tomorrow for some barbequed wings.
