Can't give up PP and Shorty in the third period and expect to win. All the rough stuff the Rush did tonight was worth it because the K's didn't capitalize on all the chances. They played hard but special teams is letting them down and that was the key to the series

I'm sorry...but what the heck makes Bob think these COASTERS will show ANY sign of life and "get payback" or "start a war" on Wednesday? We're going to take our butt-kicking and all the post-game stuff and "turn-the-other-cheek" just like we've done ever since Lawmaster jumped Shafronov.
We've played good hard hockey for about exactly 20 games this year! One good run after New Years and then the run for the last few regular-season games and the Bloomy series. Then, they had a 10-day break...and went right back where they were.
D-I-S-C-I-P-L-I-N-E!!! And that STARTS with the Coach DEMANDING the guys play hard EVERY night...or you sit or move people.
Right now, my hockey plans are opening night, Thanksgiving, and then start going again in Janaury when they start caring again...want me to be a regular attendee next year...have to prove it to me!
sorry caprad, we won't miss you. Take off all the games you want.
We are not done by any means!!! One bounce this way or that and we would have stole that game. We can easily come home and win two in a row. It's not like they blew us out of their building...STILL Gotta Believe!!!

Its hard to single out Molle's penalty as the worst. Many Komets took dumb penalties. Its been their pattern all season. The powerplay was horrific. Molle's penalty might not have helped matters, but it wasn't the sole factor in this loss.

Agree completely. How many times in this series have forwards taken calls in the offensive zone? No excuse for that.

The Molle call did indeed change it all up. Reaney goated him into, all Molle had to do was skate away..instead he pushed him down. that lead to the tieing...You can't put your team in that position..that changed the game

breslyn, sorry...the winning the cup was wishful thinking, since we really don't need to worry about the end of the season party till the end of the season!
But how can anyone who watched the games think there is no way we could still win this round? Friday we played the worst game since before Christmas and Saturday we played much better and it can't get much closer than chanving a chance to tie it up in the last few seconds. A bounce one way or anther and we would be coming home 1-1 with a chance to close it out at home. If the Komets continue to play like they did on Saturday, would it really be a surprise to win two here? If they do, who would have all the pressure on them in game 5?
I may have orange classes, but I can still see fine! STILL Gotta Believe!

Im not to sure of the stat but i think it was posted before that we have lost a lot of games fri nights at home, hopefully we get a win wed and can get a win on Fri. Then Sundays game will be whoever wants it the most!!!! Lets Go Komets!!!!!

Our "interesting" season is on thin ice and one or two games away from concluding. How unfortunate but fitting, it will end in our building. Thank you veterans for the contributions you made to the organization over the years. With few exceptions it is time to pursue other vocations. I look forward to an off season of wholesale roster changes in an effort to renew our reputation as one of the finest and most successful franchises in minor league hockey.

Hey everyone just to clear up a few trhings the whole facebook Chl reff staff sucks website is only about the reffs sucking and the komets. It is a group I created to get fans together to talk about all the games going on. It just so happened that when I created this group that the reffs were doing terriable not only in the komets games but in a few others also i talk to a whichita fan often and he said he sees the same things often and that he even thinks the reffs are biased at points. so to anyone who thinks that the chl reff facebook group is a joke keep that comment to yourself its a fun group where everyone gets together and comes up with ideas. For instance the beachbums idea we all wanted to watch the game togehter and we asked around everyone denied us but canlan and beachbums until they realized it would bring buisness then they all tried to get us going sorry it didnt work out but beachbums is what worked out nothing agianst anyone else or any other company that had it playing or the people that were there. Thanks for supporting the k's

I was out of town last night and unable to watch the game, but was keeping track as best I could on pointstreak from my smartphone. Couldn't believe we gave up the game winner while on a PP. I didn't know how it happened but I had my suspicions, and imagine my 'surprise' when I read the game story today and it was confirmed.
