There was an article in this mornings news about a benefit for scott schroeder who lost both legs and possibly right arm while serving our country in afghanistan. Scott is hockey family he played travel hockey in his youth as well for the northside redskins and the ft wayne jr komets.donations to help scott's family defray travel cost to be by his side can be done @ 3rivers FCU. As tough as scott was on the ice, he faces probably the toughest battle in his young life. Please put him and his family in your prayers

Blake, With Witchita's game tomorrow being postponed do you have any idea where they are? I'm thinking they could still be in Dayton or already in Fort Wayne which would definitally help us out for a series this weekend if we get as much wintery goodness as they claim.

When I asked the Komets about Friday's game today, they didn't seem too concerned about Wichita being able to get here. I would imagine Wichita is back in Kansas since they were supposed to play at Missouri on Tuesday.

That game wasn't "scheduled twice" just because somebody didn't bother to check the schedule. The PT and the Mallards have had that date tied up in Bloomington since the beginning of January.
