I don't see that it clears anything up at all, Blake. Yes, this whole Dayton thing may be being way overblown, but in my opinion Hextall just failed his only test so far. When something big and serious went down... something the commish is supposed to be reassuring on and spin to the best of his ability ASAP... Hextall was not available.

Those are pretty strong words coming out of Dayton by Brunner...Hope this situation is nothing like the Columbus situation in the UHL a few years back. It brings into question how much trouble they are in or not in and are they the only ones?

I am corn-fused on this one. I understand that the Gems aren't packing the fans in, but we are only a fraction of the way in. Have they all ready blown all their money? They just bought a team in Detroit in the AAHL too.
I knew when the Buddy's guys were talking last season that they were bringing hockey back to INDY, and that fiasco, and when we learned they were the owners of the Dayton Gems, I was just a tad-bit worried. They didn't exactly handle their business in Fort Wayne that well as I recall.
But still, at this point, we don't know everything that is going on, and for a Kalamazoo fan like Primus to come on here and start spewing crap about Pickard, well, it cracks me up. Wonder how long he has been waiting for a chance to tell us all how perfect things are in K-Zoo and how stupid all of us are in the IHL.....grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. And Primus is the guy that whines whenever anyone questions K-Zoo or the ECHL. So my advice for him is to fly away Wings fan....fly away.
