How do goalies develop radar to know where the net is behind them?
blake, are you going to the neiba hall of fame dinner this year??
Whenever Reiter plays goal someone around me will yell, sometime during the game, that he should stay in the crease and not wander about, and it's true that once in awhile a goalie that moves far from home will get caught looking bad. What folks don't always realize are the times the goalie, by moving from the crease, made a play that took a good shot away from the opposing player, or maybe even stopped a play developing that would have produced a quality shot on goal. That won't show in the goalie stats, but it's as good as a save made.
I'll be doing HS football and the Komets off the radio that night, Chuckitt.
And here I was expecting you to quote "The Terminator":
"That's what he does! It's ALL he does!" :D
