The American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana will hold its 14th annual golf tournament to benefit the local Chapter on Wednesday, June 3 at Cobblestone Golf Course in Kendallville, Indiana.
Fort Wayne Komets defenseman Guy Dupuis will serve as honorary chair for the event, participating in both the golf outing and dinner in the evening. A 38-year-old native of New Brunswick, Canada, Dupuis was recently named the 2008-2009 Pepsi International Hockey League (IHL) Defenseman of the Year, leading all league defensemen in goals, assists, shorthanded goals and power play assists. This is the third straight year that Dupuis has received the honor. He also now holds the record of most games played by a Komet.
Tournament registration cost of $500 per team or $125 per person includes cart and greens fee for 18 holes, team picture, tickets for door prizes and prizes for various greens contests throughout the afternoon. Check-in for the golf outing and lunch will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. A dinner buffet and silent auction will follow the 4-person scramble at approximately 5:30 p.m. Guests may opt to attend the dinner and silent auction only for $35 per person. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana.

Bruce Boudreau is starting up a golf tournament to benefit local area hockey teams. To help provide for kids who can't afford to play. He is teaming up with John Anderson and Reebok. The Fan 590 and Don Cherry are both going to help promote this event. Attached is the infomation on the tournament at LionHead in Toronto. July 27th.
