Tailing the Komets

Great game

The Blackhawks didn't win, but they really showed me something tonight. That was truly a battle all over the ice.

Brian Campbell is pathetic. He has made more mistakes in the playoffs than any $56 Million player should be making. 2 huge mistakes by Chicago's Dmen cost them the game. You can't do that against Detroit. They will make you pay everytme. Sickening

I thought that 3 on 1 that ended the game was SWEET. And as you know, I'm impartial.

By the way, my pictures from Game 1 of the Turner Cup Finals are now ready to be viewed. The link to the set is below, but please feel free to click on the images individually too, so long as you have a sense of humor. ;)

I didn't get to see the game but kept up with it via the NHL live scoreboard. With the number of shots in the first period, it seemed like Chicago was doing everything but finding the back of the net. Then in the second period, Detroit held them to, what, 6? So it goes.

Looks like Rammer landed on his feet. Take a look at this arena he is standing in front of. I guess it seats 17k. Although they never get more than 7k for a game http://www.tulsaworld.com/sports/art...1_NewTul335130
These are pictures of the arena. http://www.flickr.com/photos/oilerfan/collections/

I really wanted the Hawks to take one in Detroit. Now thy have to take the next two in Chicago just to even things up.

Good to see Rammer has a job next season. I've always liked him and hope he does well there.

Never mind the pundits. There are plenty of reasons for Chicago fans to be hopeful. They'll have two more chances to take a game in Detroit. Beyond that, they just need to hold on to their home ice. The games in Detroit were both very competitive. I'm still predicting that Detroit will win, but it ain't over 'til it's over.
