Sam Sisco was always my favorite ref back in the day. Congratulations, Sam!
Sam is one of the finest individuals to ever call a game in Fort Wayne. Such a class act. Just a flatout nice man. I am sure he has friends all over the world. This award is very much deserved. Knowing Sam, I can say he will be very humbled. Congratulations!

As every one has said, Sam was great.
I remember an old-timer's game, late 80's maybe, that Sam took part in. I don't remember the details but he called a penalty on one of the Komets for something he did back many years ago. That was funny.
As I recall Leather Lungs was also at that game. Would that be you ds214?
not only was he a class act, he brought with him an aura, a professionalism, a picture of credibility that helped make the ihl a premier league! great job sam! anybody got his address? we in ft wayne should flood him with cards of congrats, praise and thanks!!!
