Opening Arguments

Hair apparent

Well, I've read all the gushing from the right and all the bashing from the left on Sarah Palin, and it was all more or less predictable stuff. But, finally, an incisive insight:

Yes, Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has a lot on her plate: a pregnant teen daughter, a son on his way to Iraq, an infant with Down syndrome and a looming national election.

But must her hair suffer? With her long, straight, often pinned-up locks, Palin looks one humid day away from fronting a Kiss cover band.

“It's about 20 years out of date,” said Boston stylist Mario Russo of the Alaska governor's 'do. “Which goes to show how off she might be on current events.”

Of course -- out-of-date hair, out-of-date ideas. Guess that's why Joe Biden, who has very new hair, seems to have such fresh new ideas.

If she can do the Gene Simmons tongue thing, I know who I'm voting for in November!

And it would appear that Mr Russo is not a fan of Amy Winehouse, who apparently is also 20 years out of date. Guess that's why she's in all the tabloids.

What's called for hear is a quick call to the Silky Pony (John Edwards) for some hair tips. It's not like he's too busy right now to help a gal out.
